VOK?-AP 258 wax dispersion, based on oxidized HDPE (oxidized high-density polyethylene), is used in solventborne coatings to improve scratch resistance, has a matte and soft touch.

Storage and transportation The product is temperature sensitive. Store and transport below 35°C, stirring well before use.

Features and benefits 

The additive is suitable for solventborne coatings, which can improve scratch resistance with matte and soft touch effects, and is recommended for use in architectural coatings, wood coatings, industrial coatings and anti-corrosion protective coatings. 

Recommended dosage 

5-12% additive (purchased form) based on total coating formulation. 

The above recommended addition amount is for reference, and the suitable addition amount needs to be determined by a series of tests. 

Incorporation method and processing guidance 

It is best to add at a low shear rate at the end of production. The product should be mixed well before use.
